· Velcro strap allows you to adjust shoe during the day as feet swell.  Easy to open and close quickly.  Easier to place foot into shoe.

· Large toe box provides room for air flow and movement and allows for feet swelling during the day; this toe box also allows room for any foot abnormalities.  Larger toe box is critical to accommodate a custom molded insole.

· Air holes allow for ventilation to help keep feet cool and dry.

· Specially formulated neoprene contours to patient’s foot, allowing for the feel of a customized fit while still being able to stretched to accommodate swelling during the day.

· Shoe can be machine washed to remove urine, feces, food stains or other dirt/debris from outdoor use.

· Special outsole provides traction and stability without sticking on carpet.  Rounded front and back soles discourage shuffling and are lightweight.

· Firm heel with deep padded heel cup offers comfort and stability.
